Distant Fireworks
This was recorded off of my balcony in North Hollywood. Unfortunately, there were no legal firework shows this year. However, that didn’t stop the neighborhood from putting on their own show on the 4th of July, 2020.

I recorded these sounds for a holiday spot I did for Ryobi tools. They sent me the tools featured in the spot, and a few others, to record the sounds to use. Unfornitaly, I didn’t get to keep all the tools =(. Check out the final spot below!
Drag Strip
Recorded these at a NHRA drag race in Norwalk Ohio. Grew up racing on that track in Highschool and it was great to visit it again for such a great race. Some of these cars produce 10,000HP. It shakes your eye balls when they pass.
You’ll notice some are labeled “Following” or ‘Stationary”. The ones labeled “Following” have the microphones tracking the cars as they pass. The ones labeled “Stationary” do not track the cars so you get a more dramatic left to right passing sound.
